Gerald (Jerry) Slavet is the co-founder of From the Top, the preeminent radio showcase for young musicians. A former real estate developer and Artistic Director of Wayside Theatre in Virginia, Slavet has served on the boards of New England Conservatory, the American Symphony Orchestra League and the National Foundation for Jewish Culture and currently is on the board of the Jewish Arts Collaborative. He is passionate about helping kids achieve their potential and inspiring them to give back to their communities.
