Mark Hoffmann got his BFA from Rhode Island School of Design in illustration and started his career in a studio animation job creating pre-production art for shows on major networks. Whilst working in animation his freelance career began to blossom with clients like Texas Monthly, Reebok and Avenue Magazine. Mark went back to school to earn his MFA in visual design from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Since then his work has shifted towards a more whimsical style focused on humor and conveying silly ideas. Mark currently teaches and resides in the New England Area. He has won awards from 3x3, American Illustration, and Creative Quarterly.
