Picture This…The Art and Work of Illustration, is a traveling exhibition that offers viewers the opportunity to experience a unique view into the life of a professional illustrator by presenting their art from sketch to finish. "Picture This..." is curated to inspire and illuminate by showing the wide variety of techniques being practiced in illustration today.
In conjunction with the exhibit, the public is invited to participate in workshops taught by professional illustrators at local libraries across the country, creating a unique exchange between artists, libraries and their communities. Contemporary films and lectures that feature behind-the-scenes interviews and follow the career paths of some well known cartoonists, illustrators and children's book creators will be offered as well.
