THE GREAT STATE OF ILLUSTRATION IN MAINE

This exhibition will showcase the past, present, and future of illustration in our state. From the eminent historical icons, through much loved contemporary artists, this exhibit has been curated to feature 90 published illustrators, each with varied but deep connections to Maine. Illustration is an art form with an ancestral home in Maine and this legacy continues today. Illustration Institute suggests that there may be more illustrators living in our state, either year round or seasonally, than in any other time in history.
